Sick and Tired...

Your Job Satisfaction Level: 71%

Your job is pretty good, even if it always doesn't seem like it.
You have a lot less stress than most people, and your work environment is definitely above average.
So if you love what you're doing, keep doing it. It doesn't get a lot better than this.
But if you're in a dead end job, you may want to move on. Because if you're not advancing, it's just not worth it.

I think the answer is so very extremely obvious by now... In case you're wondering, that's a pix of me and Mr. Scorpio who's now in KL with Traxxfm.

I am....

You are 93% Cancer

And...

You've Changed 72% in 10 Years

Compared to who you were ten years ago, you've changed a great deal.
In fact, you're probably in a completely different phase of your life - and very happy about it!

And...

Your True Love Is a Cancer

Why you'll love a Cancer:

Cancer's loyal and sincere heart makes your own sensitive heart melt.
Caring and devoted, a Cancer will take the lead in pursuing you - and not give up!

Why a Cancer will love you:

You're laid back enough to deal with Cancer's little mood swings and freak-outs.
A fellow homebody, you know how make Cancer comfortable and at home with you.

And...

You Will Die at Age 64

You're pretty average when it comes to how you live...
And how you'll die as well.

And...

What can I say? I left home at 10am picked up Mr. Firdaus's Mother in law and Bro in Law at the jetty and took them shopping for chocolate. Bought some for my mom. And I reached the office at 11am++ and did my job.

First song from the cd got stuck and the twinning program went well, except for the delay (a delay is when you finished your sentence only to hear your own voice and 3 seconds of silence before you hear the other DJ started to reply). Tech people said it was only 0.5secs but I counted 1001, 1002, 1003 (that's 3 seconds of delay). Apart from that, my conty went well.

Was called by Ms. Zaleha, about doing the News, Then Sugu Daddy asked me to go to his room, still about the News, then Ms. B called me to her room, still talking about the News. Adula! Then I joined them upstair and listened to the new DJs recording. Picked one of them. Everyone agreed.

Then it was time for breakfast at 5pm++. Had a long coversation with Miss B. A very long one over 2 plates of Nasik Goreng Seafood at Nors'.

Lepaking at the office until 10pm and did KALAU with Ms. Suriati. Got 3 callers without really trying, 2 of them new. All in all I'd say I'm contended with my life today and I smelled like a dead hamster, no, I smelled like a dead hamster that died by drowning and the rotting remains left somewhere damp, Yeap, I think that's how I really smell right now. So I came back from the office at 12am... Maybe I should pack my things and move into the office...

And also, the reason behind many many blogthings in this posting is that at first I was too lazy to find any ideas to blurb about but then again... i'm a very confused people person.

Mwah! Mwah! (Kissy Kissy on the Lippy Lippy)

Your Kissing Technique Is: Perfect

Your kissing technique is amazing - and you know it.
You have the confidence to make the first move.
And you always seem to know what kissing style is going to work best.
Sometimes you're passionate, sometimes you're a tease. And you're always amazing!

Eeek... it's a Grasshopper... Cricket? The Thing?

The story goes like this... As I was going to bed, I wanted to say goodnite to my babies (NO! I'm not a single father, when I say my babies, I was reffering to my plants!) I look up at the ceiling and saw a small night visitor...

Looks like a cricket whose mother dated a bachelor grasshopper on a business trip. Anyway, it's a common sight at night here in Langkawi (I dont mean a cricket dating a grasshopper nor grasshoppers on a business trip). I'm talking about THE insect in the pix up there ^.

Anyway, last time when I saw this specie, I didn;t have a camera. The next time I saw this again, I got a camera, but no blog, so no reason to snap a photo of it. Now I got a camera, a blog and this insect posing hind-side up on my ceiling, i thought I would love to share this Kodak (my camera is an Olympus, which I call Olympussy as in James Bonds' Octopussy, mind you). moment with my beloved fellow readers. Ngeee...

Horny Birds- Mating Season

I know the title of this posting sounds like something "pornish", but me being myself, I cannot resist. This is one of the 3 species of HORNBILLS found in Langkawi. This little bugger and it's kind can be seen everywhere, even in Kuah town. They're noisy and loud!
When I came home from work, this pair and another pair (hiding in the trees) are making such noise that I imagine pointing a gun and having a target practise. But being a very environmentally friendly lad, I chose the camera instead.

Plants Update- Dwarf Pomegranate Tree

Dwarf Pomegranate or scientifically known as Punica granatum 'Nana' or in Bahasa Malaysia- Pokok Delima "Bantut". Hahaha....

Raptor-Shaped Clouds Earlier Today in Langkawi

The middle cloud really looks like a big vulture or eagle or sumthing...

Plants Update- My Hangin Garden

This is a pix of my hanging garden... I think I'll call it "The Hanging Garden".

Well what can I say? It has ballooned from a single top layer into 4 layers in less than a month... So many mouths to feed, so little time (this is where I dramatically slapping my own forehead)

Plants Update- Rescuing Mirabilis and Ventricosa/Alata/Ventrata

Yesterday Miss Mirinda and myself went for breakfast/lunch/brunch at about 3pm++. I had to go out because I needed hooks to hang my plants. Anyway, we lunch to lunch and then went to the hardware store. Bought hooks and cable.

Went to the bank to draw some money to put gas for DFR (Dat Fookin Rover) and went to a nursery, it was closed, so went to another one. Ended up buying 3 dying Nephentes Mirabilis and 2 ventricosa/alata/ventrata for RM60, which was cheap. Got the hooks for free plus 2 mini pomegranate tree.

Then met Ms. Leo and had early dinner at one of the outrageously decorated eatery in town (they put test tubes in heart shaped wooden container and decorate that with fake-looking fake orchid).

Then time to go draw some more money and said goodbye to Ms. Leo and we went shopping. Bought another one of my favorite shirt as the old one torn due to abuse and over-use. And bought water spray for my plants and bought 2 hooded jackets as they're offering it with 70% discount.

Then when I came home, I realised... I'm a big spender (no, it's not about underwear).

And later last night, I called my mom just for chat.

Plants Update- Nephentes Bicalcarata Marudi

The famous fanged pitcher (periuk kera bergigi taring... huhu... I cant refrain myself from doing that...)

A Point to Ponder

Have you ever feel like this? When you're here, you wish that you're somewhere else, when you're somewhere else, you wish that you're else where. Like you hated yourself right now, wishing that you'd feel like when you're younger, but then again, if you think really hard, you'll remember that back then, you hated yourself just the same.

Life is a journey indeed!

mmm... oral story of the day- you cant do it in real life- photoshop it...

People say a picture worth a thousand words... I'm so good in MATHS that I know for sure if Mr. Atan and Mr. Jan Travolta ever see the pictures, the above pictures will worth 4,000 words, consisting only 4 letters, repeated many, many, many many many many times.

Yesterdays' Pose is todays' Laughing Stock

Olympus secondhand camera- RM600

Breakfast of Hacks Sweet-RM0.50

Coffee-Free (Bancuh Sendiri)

Time spent infront of the PC (free time lo)

the look on Ms. Leos' face= PRICELESS!!!!
Seriously, she did look like "KAK NITA" in a scary way. Imagine both Anita Sarawak and Angelina Jolie having a front-to-front accident, the result would look pretty much like the above pix.

yesterdays' story is todays' memory

What happened to me yesterday was like a drama with bad script and bad director, not forgetting the bad cameraman and bad casting also, bad post-production, bad promotion, bad ju ju, bad, bad, bad.

I woke up early as usual, hit the snooze button more than once as usual. Had my coffee extra sweet with extra creamer and took my sweet time burning CD. Then I hit the shower as usual and dressed as usual when I was about to leave I received a text message from Ms. Leo. It says "someone important is here in Langkawi and He might be dropping by at the office." FINE.
Then another one came in saying "office wear would be great". FINE!!!!Undress, press the shirt and get dress. Again.

So I drove to the office and the moment I stepped in, the guys at the office said "You have to interview him, here's the script". Looking at the scribbles, I almost got a heart attack there and then. Felt like I wanted to crawl into someones' locker and sob and cry. I asked the guys to observe silence for 1 minute so that something like am iracle would happen and the surprise visit would be cancelled. Well me being me, I can't shut up for more than 10 seconds.

To make a long boring story short an interesting, I was saved by a combination of factors and I didn't have to do the interview that might be costing me my job.

Riiiiigggghhhtttt.....

Well anyway, the photo is a photographic evidence that I don't panic for nothing (meaning when I panic, other people should start panicking)!

reflection time

Some people were born rich. Some were not. Some people were brought up in a happy family. Some struggled through neglect and abuse. Some people were spoon-fed with education, some had to drop out of school because of variety of reasons.
Some people have a lot of everything, while some scrape for scraps because they didn't have anything. Some people are happy by nature, others pretend that they are happy when they're not. Some people don't even bother.

Some people got a lot of friends. Some people only have one. Some have none. Some people are thin. Some, not so. Some trying to and some, just let it go. Some people have secrets, some people doesn't, but most; do.

Some people are happy with their life. Some people try to make it better while some don't even want to save themselves. Some people wanna settle down and have children, while some people can't mate in captivity.

Some people want to live until they reached a very ripe old age. Some people live fast and die young, hoping to leave a goodlooking corpse behind. Some people doesn't even have the chance, they were stabbed by someone in a fit of jealousy, or have taken their own lives in a fit of jealousy or by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. While some are still here, wondering, how and when would the end be.

Some people show love by being there, while others don't. Some people even love unconditionally.

Some people need the company of other people. while some don't. Some even pretend that they like the company of people when in reality they don't. Some people barely tolerate it. Some people like to hurt themselves, while some people like to hurt other people, some people doesn't care who they hurt.

Life is short indeed, but, it is wide enough that some got lost along the way.

Erk?

In conjuction with "my new look", I think it's best for me to share the lyric of my favorite song in my own style.

Nothing Compares (to My Hair)

It's been seven hours and fifteen days
Since you took my hair away
I go out every night and sleep all day
Since you took my hair away
Since you been gone I can do whatever I want
I can soap my scalp if I choose
I can use facial cleanser all over my scalp
But nothing
I said nothing can take away these blues
`Cause nothing compares
Nothing compares to the lost of hair blues

It's been so cold up here (pointing at my head) without you (reffering to my hair) here
Like a bird without a song
Nothing can stop these lonely tears from falling
Tell me baby where did I go wrong
I could go shop for wigs but I can't afford the real looking expensive ones
But they'd only remind me of my real hair
I went to the doctor n'guess what he told me
Guess what he told me
He said boy being bald can be fun
You'll have to love your new (lack of) hair-do
But he's a fool
`Cause nothing compares
Nothing compares to my hair

all the flowers that you planted, mama
In the back yard
All died when you went away (cos I'm too busy staring at the mirror looking for new hair growth and didn't have the time to water them, ok, I lied, I poisoned your plants and pluck'em one by one and chop them and burn them)
I know that living with no hair can be sometimes hard (imagine scratching mosquito bites on top of your head, or trying to smack that darn mosquitoes when they land on your bald head)
But I'm willing to give it another try (if you pay me a gadzillion, in US Dollars)
Nothing compares
Nothing compares to my hair
Nothing compares
Nothing compares to my hair
Nothing compares
Nothing compares to my hair

Nothing Compares to You, Originally Sung by my idol and inspiration, Sinead O'connor.

What Do Ya Say?

The world is full of baldies. Take the chicken above for example. It's bald and blushing. The reason behind this lack of feather is simple- easier for us humans to prepare the chicken for cooking. Expect walking chicken body parts in the near future and fried chicken and chicken chops fresh from the eggs.

Or the Bald Parrot (Pionopsitta aurantiocephala), it have all the colorful feather of a parrot, with a bald head and again, the "blush".

Or the chiseled facial features of Sinead O'connor, minus the blush.

Or the drama behind the dramatic decision of Britney Spears. No blush, tho I imagine K-Fed would blush like boiled coconut crab in tom yam soup. A classic case of "suddenly-I-feel-like-shaving-my-head-and-be-the-talk-of-the-world".

GASPS! CHOKE! COUGHS!

Should I, or should I not go "Britney"? I know I look good, with or without hair but Am I brave enough? I dont think so.

This'll give me nightmares for 7 working days.
