I Dont Normally Cry at Weddings, But This One...

What's in my head right now?

Well, my bestest of best friend is getting married in July, we used to "mandi koboi" in the river near our place, fought and didnt talk for a year, he shat in his pants once and I was there when it happened, cycled 70++km to Yan from SP together, slept in a box at Pantai Merdeka because bus drivers went on a strike, peed on a passing train from a bridge, made a drama by hugging and acted like Jejak Kasihan infront of his parents during Hari Raya, we were so close that we shared undies at one point... all the stupid fun things guys growing up always do. I miss those years. What I would give, to go back there and then. If given another chance, I'd make the same mistakes I've made, only sooner...

"Malam ini sahabat dasar jiwa, dapatku selam erti kita hingga kedasarnya" Titah Raja Majapahit kepada sahabat.

All About Vitamin M...

Vitamin M, the main cause of sorrow and happiness for most people. Everyone needs and could use more vitamin M.

For example, before I moved to Langkawi, I was OK-paid (not quite well-paid, but enough to go by), when I first moved to Langkawi, my pay was dirt. RM650, pay rental RM300, I'm left with RM350, to mamam, to spend etc... I walk around here and there, Maggi was my "makanan ruji".

Fast forward to today, after 3 years and 5 extra inches around the belly, well, my pay was like 6-7 times what I got before, funny thing is, I'm left with almost nothing at the end of the month. Instead of Maggi, I eat pasta with ready-to-eat bottled sauce. Got a car, got internet, house phone, new handphone etc, etc. And my point is, I forgot my point.

You can be anywhere and be happy, or you can sit in the dark, alone, in bed, and fret about what you have and what you dont have, but it won't change a thing. You can be happy, unhappy, fulfilled, incomplete, longing, yearning, wishing, miserable, but other people dont have to know about it, if you dont let them.

It's all in your head, yeah, it's all in your head; make a song out of that phrase. Remember it well.

It's all in your head.

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow...

Photo Caption : Brunfelsia Pauciflora (Top), Brunfelsia Americana (Bottom)

Both plants produce flowers that change color that last for three days, B. pauciflora changes from purple to white while B. americana changes from white to yellow back to white. Some people call them Lady of the Night, because they only smells nice for some people and scary for most people, at night. Most people call them Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.

What I did yesterday: Hang out with Miss B until 3 in the morning.

What I did today: MC for KEDA, International Group "Kampung Night". It feels good to do good, I mean like, when you do something for other people and expect to be paid, you only charge minimum as the people really need your help and the fact that they have no budget. it feels good to be able to speak. More like it feels good to be paid when all you need to do is just speak a few words and hold the program together. Some people had to work all day to get what I got tonight. some people had to work for 10 days for that amount of money. Thank you god, for this and everything.

What I have to do tomorrow: MC for Tadika Seri Taman Sports Day, later tomorrow night, a kenduri at Miss Bs' House.

I think I love my life. For someone who doesn't really exists, he's doing pretty good.

Me Against the World...

What can I say? ALOT!

But imagine having things, no, more likely thoughts hitting you at from the front, back, side to side, above and below and from the inside.

Yea, like Gia said, life's like a box, six sides.

You always wished yourself to be somewhere, but when you're there, how do you know you're there? How do you know there is really where you want to be? How do you know if where you want to be is the best place for you to be? How do you know the difference between where you want to be and where you should be? How about where you are now? How do you know when is the best time for you to leave where you are and be elsewhere? How do you get there? How prepared are you when you're there?

See what I mean? I'm making a mountain out of an anthill. I'm good at that. Getting better. Maybe I should just go to bed... But how do you go to bed when you're not sleepy? Maybe I should take those suspicious colored pills someone gave me. What if I will never wake up tomorrow?

I think the mind is like a monkey on high trees, it refuse to go still, maybe it's time for someone to shoot the monkey, but i dont have a gun.

And the picture says alot about what I'm thinking and feeling right now. It's a photo of a dumb guy posing a fight with a dead, no, make that very dead and most likely a replica of a dinosaur called Tyranosaurus Sex, I think I might've misspelled that, it's a Tyranosaurus Rex. It's a dumb thing. The guy wouldn't do that pose if the Mr/Ms Dino is alive a breathing and most likely hungry all the time. He'd be running for his life with the ground shaking beneath him and the dino chasing the sh*t out of him. So which one is me? Me the human would pose like that infront of me the dino bone. But then again, I think I relate to the bones myself. Imagine something as majestic and feared like T-rex reduced to a pile of bones that cannot stand by it's own. I could relate to that. At my current state of mind, I could related to anything. Sensitivity- some people call it a blessing. A blessing to feel. But like a sponge, one can only absorb x amount of water. No more.

Dorothy Parker once said "Guns are unlawful, nooses all gives, gas smells awful, might as well live".
But then again Oscar Wilde said "Always forgive your enemy, nothing annoys them so much".

Life is... Wonderful? Boring? Challenging? Same Thing

My love is on the line

My love is on the line

My love is on the line

My love is on the line

A little late for all the things you didn't say

I'm not sad for you

But I'm sad for all the time I had to waste

'Cause I learned the truth

Your heart is in a place I no longer wanna be

I knew there'd come a day

I'd set you free

'Cause I'm sick and tired

Of always being sick and tired

Chorus:

Your love isn't fair

You live in a world where you didn't listen

And you didn't care

So I'm floating

Floating on air

Oh.. yeah...

No warning of such a sad song

Of broken hearts

My dreams of fairy tales and fantasy, oh

Were torn apart

I lost my peace of mind

Somewhere along the way

I knew there's come a time

You'd hear me say

I'm sick and tired

of always being sick and tired

(Chorus 2x)

My love is on the line

My love is on the line

My love is on the line

My love is on the line

My love is on the line

(Chorus)

Sick and Tired...

Your Job Satisfaction Level: 71%

Your job is pretty good, even if it always doesn't seem like it.
You have a lot less stress than most people, and your work environment is definitely above average.
So if you love what you're doing, keep doing it. It doesn't get a lot better than this.
But if you're in a dead end job, you may want to move on. Because if you're not advancing, it's just not worth it.

I think the answer is so very extremely obvious by now... In case you're wondering, that's a pix of me and Mr. Scorpio who's now in KL with Traxxfm.

I am....

You are 93% Cancer

And...

You've Changed 72% in 10 Years

Compared to who you were ten years ago, you've changed a great deal.
In fact, you're probably in a completely different phase of your life - and very happy about it!

And...

Your True Love Is a Cancer

Why you'll love a Cancer:

Cancer's loyal and sincere heart makes your own sensitive heart melt.
Caring and devoted, a Cancer will take the lead in pursuing you - and not give up!

Why a Cancer will love you:

You're laid back enough to deal with Cancer's little mood swings and freak-outs.
A fellow homebody, you know how make Cancer comfortable and at home with you.

And...

You Will Die at Age 64

You're pretty average when it comes to how you live...
And how you'll die as well.

And...

What can I say? I left home at 10am picked up Mr. Firdaus's Mother in law and Bro in Law at the jetty and took them shopping for chocolate. Bought some for my mom. And I reached the office at 11am++ and did my job.

First song from the cd got stuck and the twinning program went well, except for the delay (a delay is when you finished your sentence only to hear your own voice and 3 seconds of silence before you hear the other DJ started to reply). Tech people said it was only 0.5secs but I counted 1001, 1002, 1003 (that's 3 seconds of delay). Apart from that, my conty went well.

Was called by Ms. Zaleha, about doing the News, Then Sugu Daddy asked me to go to his room, still about the News, then Ms. B called me to her room, still talking about the News. Adula! Then I joined them upstair and listened to the new DJs recording. Picked one of them. Everyone agreed.

Then it was time for breakfast at 5pm++. Had a long coversation with Miss B. A very long one over 2 plates of Nasik Goreng Seafood at Nors'.

Lepaking at the office until 10pm and did KALAU with Ms. Suriati. Got 3 callers without really trying, 2 of them new. All in all I'd say I'm contended with my life today and I smelled like a dead hamster, no, I smelled like a dead hamster that died by drowning and the rotting remains left somewhere damp, Yeap, I think that's how I really smell right now. So I came back from the office at 12am... Maybe I should pack my things and move into the office...

And also, the reason behind many many blogthings in this posting is that at first I was too lazy to find any ideas to blurb about but then again... i'm a very confused people person.

Mwah! Mwah! (Kissy Kissy on the Lippy Lippy)

Your Kissing Technique Is: Perfect

Your kissing technique is amazing - and you know it.
You have the confidence to make the first move.
And you always seem to know what kissing style is going to work best.
Sometimes you're passionate, sometimes you're a tease. And you're always amazing!

Eeek... it's a Grasshopper... Cricket? The Thing?

The story goes like this... As I was going to bed, I wanted to say goodnite to my babies (NO! I'm not a single father, when I say my babies, I was reffering to my plants!) I look up at the ceiling and saw a small night visitor...

Looks like a cricket whose mother dated a bachelor grasshopper on a business trip. Anyway, it's a common sight at night here in Langkawi (I dont mean a cricket dating a grasshopper nor grasshoppers on a business trip). I'm talking about THE insect in the pix up there ^.

Anyway, last time when I saw this specie, I didn;t have a camera. The next time I saw this again, I got a camera, but no blog, so no reason to snap a photo of it. Now I got a camera, a blog and this insect posing hind-side up on my ceiling, i thought I would love to share this Kodak (my camera is an Olympus, which I call Olympussy as in James Bonds' Octopussy, mind you). moment with my beloved fellow readers. Ngeee...

Horny Birds- Mating Season

I know the title of this posting sounds like something "pornish", but me being myself, I cannot resist. This is one of the 3 species of HORNBILLS found in Langkawi. This little bugger and it's kind can be seen everywhere, even in Kuah town. They're noisy and loud!
When I came home from work, this pair and another pair (hiding in the trees) are making such noise that I imagine pointing a gun and having a target practise. But being a very environmentally friendly lad, I chose the camera instead.

Plants Update- Dwarf Pomegranate Tree

Dwarf Pomegranate or scientifically known as Punica granatum 'Nana' or in Bahasa Malaysia- Pokok Delima "Bantut". Hahaha....

Raptor-Shaped Clouds Earlier Today in Langkawi

The middle cloud really looks like a big vulture or eagle or sumthing...

Plants Update- My Hangin Garden

This is a pix of my hanging garden... I think I'll call it "The Hanging Garden".

Well what can I say? It has ballooned from a single top layer into 4 layers in less than a month... So many mouths to feed, so little time (this is where I dramatically slapping my own forehead)

Plants Update- Rescuing Mirabilis and Ventricosa/Alata/Ventrata

Yesterday Miss Mirinda and myself went for breakfast/lunch/brunch at about 3pm++. I had to go out because I needed hooks to hang my plants. Anyway, we lunch to lunch and then went to the hardware store. Bought hooks and cable.

Went to the bank to draw some money to put gas for DFR (Dat Fookin Rover) and went to a nursery, it was closed, so went to another one. Ended up buying 3 dying Nephentes Mirabilis and 2 ventricosa/alata/ventrata for RM60, which was cheap. Got the hooks for free plus 2 mini pomegranate tree.

Then met Ms. Leo and had early dinner at one of the outrageously decorated eatery in town (they put test tubes in heart shaped wooden container and decorate that with fake-looking fake orchid).

Then time to go draw some more money and said goodbye to Ms. Leo and we went shopping. Bought another one of my favorite shirt as the old one torn due to abuse and over-use. And bought water spray for my plants and bought 2 hooded jackets as they're offering it with 70% discount.

Then when I came home, I realised... I'm a big spender (no, it's not about underwear).

And later last night, I called my mom just for chat.

Plants Update- Nephentes Bicalcarata Marudi

The famous fanged pitcher (periuk kera bergigi taring... huhu... I cant refrain myself from doing that...)
